Gurney Plaza, touted as Penang’s premier lifestyle mall, is a shopping mall located at the famed Gurney Drive promenade in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. A seven-storey new wing facing Kelawei Road opened in November 2008. The extension added 150,000 sq ft (14,000 m2) of retail space to accommodate the expanded department store, 83 shoplots and 800 new parking bays.
